Our Approach
Therapeutic care at Invigor is not a separate programme — it is embedded in the fabric of daily life. Our framework draws on trauma-informed practice, attachment theory, and positive behavioural support, delivered by a skilled and consistent staff team.
We understand that for many of the young people we support, trust is not freely given. It is earned — through action, consistency, and genuine care over time.
Structured keyworker sessions built into each young person’s weekly routine
Trauma-informed assessment on arrival and ongoing review
Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) plans where indicated
CAMHS liaison and co-ordination of external therapeutic input
Emotion regulation support and co-regulation in daily interactions
Risk management frameworks, developed with commissioning teams
Clear, consistent boundaries through a relational, not punitive, approach
Young people develop greater capacity to understand and manage their emotional responses — reducing crisis incidents and improving engagement with education and relationships.
Our therapeutic approach significantly reduces placement breakdown risk, enabling longer, more consistent placements that serve young people and commissioning authorities alike.
Young people leave our care with increased self-awareness, confidence, and the independence skills they need to move forward.
