What is Residential Children's Care?

Invigor’s Residential Children’s Care service provides registered, regulated residential placements for young people who need a stable, nurturing environment outside of the family home. Our homes in Greater Manchester are real homes — not facilities — staffed by experienced practitioners committed to the long-term stability of every placement.

A Real Home Environment

Our homes are designed to feel comfortable and personal — because the environment young people live in matters. Each home has its own character, shared living spaces for meals and activities, and space for young people to make their own. We deliberately avoid institutional settings. Young people deserve better.

What Support Do We Provide?

  • 24/7 keyworker support with consistent staffing to build real relationships
  • Structured daily routines — meals, activities, and time that give the day meaning
  • Education liaison — working with schools, colleges, or alternative provision
  • Emotional and behavioural support embedded in everyday life
  • Health appointments, CAMHS liaison, and advocacy
  • Family contact facilitation where appropriate and agreed
  • Regular review meetings with the commissioning authority

Referrals we accept

Who is Residential Children's Care For?

Young people aged 10–17 who require a stable residential placement. This includes young people with EBD, those who have experienced placement disruption, those transitioning from secure settings, and those who need a therapeutic, consistent home environment to stabilise and grow.
