Structure, consistency, and genuine human connection. That is how we do it.
Our approach
At Invigor, care is not a shift pattern, it is a philosophy. Our approach is therapeutic at its core: structured, consistent, and grounded in an understanding of how adversity shapes behaviour. We do not just respond to behaviour, we seek to understand it.
Every home operates within a clear framework of routines, boundaries, and relational practice. This gives young people the predictability and safety they need to begin to trust, and to grow.
Core principles
Earned through consistency, honesty, and genuine care.
Physical and emotional safety underpin every decision we make.
Every young person has a personal plan, reviewed regularly.
We hold high expectations for our young people, and ourselves.
We work with commissioning authorities, families, and schools together.
How we work
Every young person is assessed holistically. Their care plan is built around their needs, strengths, and goals, not a template. Plans are reviewed in partnership with the young person, their social worker, and their IRO.
Our staff are trained to understand the impact of adverse experiences and to respond through a therapeutic, de-escalation lens, not a punitive one.
Commissioning authorities can expect open communication, timely reporting, and genuine partnership at every stage of a young person’s placement.
